And yet this, despite all measures to strengthen the body, is quite thin thickness, so aluminum, as well as other metal vessels, can occur dents, which in most cases occur when the external impact of the body with hard surfaces and the dent is directed inwards.
To eliminate use a kiyanka, which is carefully tapped. But experts do not advise this method, especially when the dent is insignificant. Because when you try to level, the metal is deformed and it becomes thinner. To get to some dents, you have to disassemble the cladding and cut the blocks of buoyancy.
If there are holes on the boat or rivets fell out, then this problem can be solved simply by installing new or spinning bolt with a nut. But here is such a nuance that when aluminum interacts with other metals, rather can begin the process of corrosion, so you need to choose the right materials. For this are suitable, for example, from fluoroplast or dielectric non-conductive materials. At least that should be the laying.
If the boat has holes or torn holes, you need to use a patch, which should be put on the riveting. The ideal patch should be as thick as that of the boat’s hull, and for additional protection you can put nylon. It is best, if possible, to eliminate holes and put patches from the inside of the body.
